NCARD performs its activities by generating funds from different sources. It accepts grants from various national and international organisations or individuals, if it does not compromise the overall vision, mission and objectives of NCARD.

Currently, NCARD has been launching the 'Enhancing Dialogue for Inclusive Constitution Project"  to develop coalition of the marginalized groups of Nepal, and increase receptiveness of the political parties for addressing their issues through upcoming new constitution and its continuous improvement with informed consent of the Indigenous people, Dalit and Muslim communities in 24 districts under the support of United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).

NCARD was supported by Danida Human Rights & Good Governance (Danish govt) and the Rights, Democracy & Inclusion Fund (RDIF) in 2007-08.
